Gigi Dominguez is an owner and VP of Sales and Marketing for Alpine Sun Ski Shop. Gigi was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia and lived in Arvada, Colorado during her childhood and adolescence. She started to ski when she was 10 years old and her first skis were Rossignol Stratos. Gigi learned to ski at Winter Park Resort as part of the Eskimo Ski Club which travelled to Winter Park on the ski train. She and her husband, Frank, met while teaching skiing in Winter Park at the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD). They married a year and a half later – and the rest is history. Gigi, whose current favorite skis are the Armada Trace 98, prefers to ski the Winter Park Territory, especially Cranmer, Bradleys Bash, and Little Pierre. Although she doesn’t currently have a dog, she enjoys the dogs other staff members bring to the shop. Gigi is an AVID fan of the University of Colorado’s sports teams and an excellent golfer.
