Jay Bloomer, ski-tuner extraordinaire, is a master downhill, nordic, and backcountry skier. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Jay learned how to ski at age 10 at Okemo, VT. His first down hill ski was a Dynastar Bora. His current favorites are the Armada ARV JJ 116 and one of our Fischer fleet skis, 1F257. His favorite runs at Winter Park/Mary Jane are Retta’s Run (Mary Jane Territory) and Left Hand (Eagle Wind Territory). Jay is not longer working for Alpine Sun Ski Shop and has relocated to the East Coast.
