Lydia Chisholm is the owner of the Bear Nails Salon adjacent to the Alpine Sun Ski Shop and also works at the shop. Lydia grew up in Taos, NM, and learned to ski when she was three years old at Taos Ski Valley. The first skis she owned were Salomon 1080s; her current favorites are the Armada Trace 98. Last year she and Katie, an Alpine Sun colleague, rode the Zephyr lift on its last voyage before it was replaced by the new gondola at Winter Park base. Lydia’s favorite run at the resort is Belle Fourche in the Eagle Wind Territory. Lydia co-parents two dogs, Paz, a 9-year-old Border Collie, and Lotti, a 5-year-old mixed breed. The dogs are often found in the shop much to the delight of our customers!
