If you think that cold feet and skiing go hand in hand, you are wrong. You should have warm happy feet out on the slopes. And if you don’t already know this is how you do it!! These are our top tips.

  1. Only wear one pair of socks while you are skiing.
  2. You should always wear a sock that is made from moisture wicking materials such as merino wool, silk, or synthetic fabrics.
  3. And always remember to never ever wear COTTON!

ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT

If your foot runs on the hot side, you are going to want Fox River’s ultra-lightweight socks. We carry the Freerider and Carve for women and the Chatter and Grenoble for men.

LIGHTWEIGHT

If your foot needs just a little more insulation and some padding the Fox River’s lightweight socks will do the trick for you. For women our two options are the Liftie and the Chamonix. Both socks have extra padding in the shin, heel, and toe to give you some extra cushion. The men’s Lightweight sock we carry is the Zermatt. This sock is most similar to the women’s Chamonix. The Zermatt and Chamonix are both a blend of merino wool and silk. The Liftie is a merino wool blend with Thermolite for extra insulation.
